This 13 Day Kenya and Uganda Safari takes you to some of East Africa’s most iconic national parks and reserves, including Amboseli National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara National Reserve, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, and Lake Mburo National Park. Your safari begins in Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya. Renowned for its awe-inspiring views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and zebras. Prepare to be mesmerized by the sight of these majestic creatures roaming freely against the backdrop of Africa’s highest peak.

From Amboseli, you’ll venture to Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its vibrant pink flamingos that flock to the lake’s shores. As you explore the park, keep an eye out for rhinos, lions, leopards, and various bird species, creating a photographer’s paradise.

Next, you’ll arrive at the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, a wildlife haven that needs no introduction. Here, witness the annual Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross treacherous rivers in search of greener pastures. Brace yourself for incredible game drives, where you can spot lions, cheetahs, elephants, and countless other species in their natural habitat.

Continuing your journey, you’ll cross the border into Uganda, where you’ll encounter the enchanting Kibale Forest National Park. Known as the “Primate Capital of the World,” this lush rainforest is home to over 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees. Embark on an exhilarating trek to observe these fascinating creatures up close as they swing through the trees and communicate with their unique calls.

Your adventure then takes you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a diverse ecosystem that encompasses savannahs, wetlands, and forests. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to spot elephants, buffalos, hippos, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you can witness the extraordinary sight of animals gathering at the water’s edge.

Continuing further into Uganda, you’ll arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to almost half of the world’s population of endangered mountain gorillas. Trek through the dense forest, guided by expert trackers, and come face to face with these gentle giants, a truly humbling and life-changing experience.

Finally, your safari concludes at Lake Mburo National Park, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Uganda. Itinerary

Depending on your confirmed starting dates in Nairobi, our guide will meet you at your booked accommodation or Air Bnb to transfer you to you to Amboseli National Park shortly after briefing you on your 13 Day Safari to Kenya and Uganda . Enjoy the 2 hours’ drive to Amboseli through scenic views of the Kenya’s country side. You will arrive at your accommodation at Amboseli in time for lunch. Shortly after which you will embark on your first game drive in Amboseli National Park.

After the delightful experience, you will return to the accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day of your 13 day Safari, you will enjoy a full day game viewing experience in Amboseli National Park with a scheduled morning and afternoon game drive starting at 7:00 H and 14:00 H respectively. Amboseli is well known for the highest number of elephant herds and you will also be able to view the scenic view of Mountain Kilimanjaro. The park is also home to other wildlife species to include: lions, cheetahs, Leopards, rhinos and abundant bird species. After the full day adventure, you will return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Early morning after your breakfast, you will say goodbye to Amboseli then embark on a 6 hours’ drive through Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park. This drive takes you back to Nairobi, enjoy an enroute lunch stopover in the city then continue the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a drive through the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley before arriving to accommodation in Lake Nakuru National park in the afternoon. After checking in accommodation, you will head out for a sunset game drive through the Park, enjoy wild viewing in the back ground of the orange African sunset.

Lake Nakuru is home to the highest population of flamingoes, the game viewing experience offers you the opportunity to see; the rare black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, water bucks, buffaloes and baboons among others. Dinner will be served upon your return to accommodation then overnight stay.

Early morning after your breakfast, you will check out accommodation to depart for Masai Mara Kenya. You will arrive at your accommodation just in time for lunch, enjoy a typical African cuisine meal shortly after which you will head out for your first game drive in Masai Mara Kenya. After the sunset thrilling wild game experience, you will return to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

The next 6 to 10 hours are spent game viewing in Kenya’s leading Masai Mara National Reserve. You will embark on two game drives in the Mara: morning game drive and the afternoon game drive with organized bush breakfast in search of the big five and other wildlife species to include: Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, Wildebeest, buffaloes, zebras, jackals, spotted hyenas, topi, impala, Hartebeests, nat eared foxes, the crocodiles and hippopotamus of the Mara and Talek Rivers.
Should your planned time to visit be in the months (July-Sept), you should brace yourselves to witness the thrilling Great wildebeest Migration as it happens in the Mara.
This natural movement of over 4 million grazers from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania to Masai Mara National Reserve is the sole reason why many visitors opt to come to Masai Mara National Reserve at this time of the year.

To Note:
• There is an optional cultural visit to the Masaai tribe community within the park; this visit grants you a chance to learn about the Masaai culture, customs, ways of living and their exercising cultural dance.

After the amazing full-day game viewing experience, We transfer back to lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy your last cup of coffee in Masai Mara early morning before you check out lodge to embark on an enroute game drive as you continue your journey to Nairobi. Upon your arrival to the city, you will have your lunch shortly after which you will transfer to the airport for a flight to Entebbe. A guide from our team will warmly welcome you to Uganda upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport then transfer you to accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy an early breakfast after which you will be met by your guide who will transfer you from Entebbe to Kibale Forest via Fortportal and having great views; you will have lunch en route. When you arrive at the park, continue and go for a visit to the beautiful crater lakes area, you will also get a chance to see the terraced tea estates. Have dinner and an Overnight stay.

After breakfast on an early morning, set out with the driver guide as he will transfer you to the park head offices for briefing. After briefing, at around 8:00am start chimpanzee trekking through this rainforest as you will be guided by the park rangers. It is always a thrilling and unforgettable experience meeting chimpanzees face to face and watching them engage in their daily activities like playing, jumping feeding etc. Also other animals can be spotted such as the grey-cheeked mangabeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and also different birds. Later, go back to the lodge and have lunch and check out as you embark on your 1h25 hours drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park; home to a diverse number of wildlife.

Be early to raise, have a cup of coffee and set out for a game drive where you will see some early risers along the Kasenyi track such as Elephants, antelopes, solitary buffaloes, lions, warthogs, as well as birds. After the drive which takes 2 to 3 hours head to the lodge and have breakfast and lunch after some time go for the launch cruise on Kazinga channel. The boat cruise is one of the amazing activities to enjoy in the park; you will enjoy watching elephants, buffaloes along the banks, crocodiles, hippos, waterbucks, birds among others. Return to the lodge, freshen up, have dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, and begin your journey to Bwindi going through the Ishasha sector with a glance at the climbing lions and many other wildlife species. Along the way you will enjoy nice landscape views. Have lunch en-route; arrive at the Park/lodge in the afternoon. Enjoy dinner and an Overnight

et up so early in the morning for breakfast and thereafter drive to the Park head offices with your tour guide; also not forgetting to carry some packed lunch. On reaching there by 7:30am you will be briefed about what to do and not to do while trekking after which you will be led by the ranger guides through the mist jungle.

Trekking usually takes between to 8 hours or even a full day due to the location of gorillas. When you see them, it will be a great and fun time as you watch them and only 1 hour is permitted to watch them. Also ensure you carry enough water with you, hats, sun glasses, rain coats, and non flash cameras. Later after the trek, head back to the lodge; have lunch as you prepare to for a community visit among the Batwa people in the evening.

After breakfast, carry on with the journey to Lake Mburo national Park, where by your eyes will be caught up by the large numbers of impalas (mainly concentrated in this park), zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, among others. Along the way your eyes will be fed again with the stunning landscapes of the kigezi highlands. You will have lunch along the way, when you arrive at the park you will have a game drive through the park as you will have a chance to see most animals. Later have dinner and Overnight.

Enjoy breakfast then choose between taking on a walking Tour, Bicycle Riding Safari or go on a boat cruise along the lake where you will see more wildlife like hippos, Crocodiles, buffaloes as well as many birds and you will also see other smaller lakes like Bwa and Kazuma. In the afternoon drive back to Entebbe after an amazing time in the wild to mark the end of our 13 Day Magical Kenya and Uganda Safari.
